尊敬的女士/先生：
在上海市建立科創中心的背景下，為更好地服務國家和上海地域產業經濟發展的需求，建設世界一流設計學科，同濟大學及其上海國際設計創新研究院作為牽頭單位，聯合上海工程技術大學等高校為協同單位，共同建設上海市設計學IV 類高峰學科。上海工程技術大學作為中國包裝創意基地，積極響應高峰學科建設需求，將于2017年10月13日舉辦“2017上海包裝設計與文化研究國際論壇”。
此次論壇旨在搭建國際化學術交流平臺，為實現包裝設計專業“走出去”和“請進來”提供機會，為世界認識中國上海的包裝設計技術和品牌文化打開一扇窗，同時又為上海引進和學習世界的最新科技和文化打開一扇門。
在藝工并舉的指導思想下，論壇開創性地將文化與科技、歷史積淀與前沿技術相融合，主要圍繞包裝設計、包裝文化、品牌文化、智能化、互聯網+、可持續設計、容器設計等領域開展三個分論壇：

To whom it may concern,
Shanghai is devoting to becoming the centre of technology entrepreneurship of China. As an initiator, Tongji University Shanghai Institute of Design and Innovation constructs the Shanghai Summit Discipline in Design collaborating with other higher education including Shanghai University of Engineering Science (SUES). As the China Packaging Originality Base, SUES responds the construction of the Summit Discipline actively and will hold the 2017 Shanghai International Forum of Packaging Design and Culture Research on Oct 13th 2017.
The forum is intended to establish an international platform for academic exchange to provide a channel, which is for promoting and exporting Shanghai packaging design and brand culture, and learning and importing the emerging technology.
Under the guiding ideology of ‘to develop art and science simultaneously’, the forum creatively mixes culture and science, history precipitation and cutting-edge technology together. The following three sub-forums are conducted surrounding topics including packaging design, packaging culture and brand, intelligence, Internet of things, sustainable design, and container design.
